current KLO staff
Dolores Atchison says it was love at first sight on her first visit to Kingsley at age eight in 1938, and she came every year thereafter to visit her grandmother, Mrs. Hildabelle Bence, eventually buying the house she lives in now from Hildebelles estate. For 25 years before moving back to Florida, Dolores worked in Security for several large department stores in New York. Dolores and husband Lou have seven children and eighteen grandchildren. She loves gardening, crafts, and taking pictures, and her photos are frequently featured on our home page. Email: dolla@embarqmail.com

Sophronia Thomas lives in Fleming Island with her husband David and their two children. some starter IDEAS for potential staffPhotographers... we have a bunch, but yes, good photos are always welcomed! Please send us you lake photosand if you do it often we'll consider you a staffer!Writers... there are SO many great things to say about Kingsley, don't you think? Especially profiles about some of our long time lake residents, with historical details and their old lake photos. We could send a photographer to make a current portrait too.
History buffs... We get LOTS of questions about the history of the lake. We could post short personal anecdotes, or even long articles from a variety of sourcesif we had them or new where to find them. Wish we had as many historians as we do photographers! We need help organizing the history info we already have too!
Comments Page Helpers... This may be the easiest and most valuable way to help out. Our "Comments Page" can be a little intimidating, especially for novice computer users. Comments Page Helpers can answer questions, and hopefully inspire new topics for discussion.
