ABOUT

Simple goal: to provide an open forum for the residents & fans of Kingsley Lake to share information & ideas.

All content is provided by the readers. No one is paid & everyone is welcome to participate. Nothing is censored or removed unless it’s deemed inappropriate or unethical by a panel of residents. All that has been contributed has been posted, so if you think we’re missing or needing anything, that’s where you can speak up and help us out! So if you have new information, updates or changes, please let us know. If you any have questions about how or what to contribute, write us and we'll be happy to work with you to help make the process easy.

This site is provided to the community by vacation home resident Clark Thomas, but the intention is for the content to be provided by YOU the readers. If you would like to help share some responsibility for the content & direction of this site, you will be heartily welcomed & encouraged.

KLO 'staffers'... (several new staffers have joined up—and will be listed soon!)
Clark Thomas is a freelance photographer and the administrator for this site. His family built the house at Dock 147 and they now share the house at Dock 74. Clark lives in Nashville with his wife Mary Beth and three young sons, and somehow they manage to spend an amazing amount of their time at the lake. Email: clark@kingsleylake.org

Please email us (here) if you would like to help.

some starter IDEAS for potential staffers...
Photographers...? which is about all we have at the moment, but yes, more photos would be very much welcomed! Please send us you lake photos—and if you do it more than twice or three times we'll consider you a staffer!

Writers...? there are SO many great things to write about, don't you think? How about profiles of some of the long time lake residents. These could weave in historical details and maybe some of their old lake photos. We could send a photographer to make a current portrait too.

History buffs...? We get LOTS of questions about the history of the lake. We could post short personal anecdotes, or even long articles from a variety of sources—if we had them or new where to find them. Wish we had as many historians as we do photographers!

Comments Page helpers: this may be the easiest and most valuable way to help our site. The "Comments Page" can be a little intimidating, especially for novice computer users. A "Comments Page HELPER" could answer people's questions, and hopefully inspire some discussions on new topics.

Regular contributors can receive a kingsleylake.org email address...!
