June 15th Womens Breakfast, Saturday at 9:00am at the Civic Center is attracting a growing group of fun women these days. Come every 3rd Saturday of the month!
In November Carol Sundberg and Chris Scott made a delicious feast; and the coffee was hot. Neighbor Ronnie Hipps shared her current project; an alphabet calendar she has designed to help children learn to read. A good time was had by all, and Clark came to make a few new pictures.
July 6th, 9am The Mens Community Breakfast at the Civic Center. The Kingsley Mens Breakfast is on the first Saturday of each month, a tradition thats becoming more popular each month. Please come join this low key gathering and get to know your neighbors up close and personal.
The Kingsley Community Reunion will be on June 15th.
Our 9th Annual Kingsley Kids Reunion is fast approaching and while the purpose is for those that grew up here during the 'off season', we would welcome all the others that grew up coming to Kingsley every summer, especially those that think they might get to see someone they haven't seen in a long time.
So, in case we have missed anyone, we would like to extend an invitation to everyone that grew up at Kingsley Lake to join us at our 9th annual Kingsley Kids Reunion and feel free to bring a companion. We have tried to identify and contact everyone we could think of, however, we have had some difficulty reaching some, so spread the word if you know someone that might be interested.
Our only agenda is to get together with those we haven't seen since our school days and try to get a couple of group photos. There is no charge and we try to provide refreshments and appetizers, so if you want to bring something, contact Joe Callan Sr. and coordinate with him what you want to bring. If you have any dietary restrictions, feel free to bring what you need as well. Hope to see you on Saturday, June 15th (Day before Father's Day) from around noon until (?) at the Kingsley Lake Civic Center (formerly Nail's Store).
We started out focusing on the graduating classes from the 1950s & 60s, however, we have had some as far back as the class of '49 to as early as the class of '94 attend and all years are invited.
