May 19, 3:00 pm, Memorial Day “Dedication” and Picnic
A framed memorial will be placed in the Civic Center in honor of Jimmy Blackshear, Rickey Crews, and Bobby Nail for their service to our country and their sacrifice in Vietnam. We are having a Memorial Day Picnic celebration from Noon to 5pm that same day and everyone is invited. If you are not able to attend the picnic, we still hope you will come for the dedication ceremony. We want to remind the families of those lost that we will never forget their sons and the sacrifice they made for us.
June 16, 1:00-6:00 pm, Kingsley “School Days Reunion”
Everyone who lived at Kingsley Lake while attending local schools, whether in Bradford or Clay County (especially those who rode bus #72), is hereby formally invited to attend a “casual get-together” with your old neighborhood buds at the Kingsley Civic Center, for reminiscing and a Group Photo (@ 3:00 pm).
Our focus is on the 1950s & 60s but every year is welcome. Last year the classes of 1957 through 1976 were represented and we expect to see more this year. No RSVP required, but please reach out to Joey Callan or Doug Combs beforehand with any questions or suggestions, or just to say "Hey." Appetizers and Soft Drinks will be served.
